Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
BeautyKit is made by Kramer Ventures GmbH ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the BeautyKit iOS app.
The short version
BeautyKit does not collect, store or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your iPhone.
Camera and photos
BeautyKit uses your front camera, with your permission, to:
- take one photo during your color scan, so it can read your skin, hair and eye tones, and
- show makeup shades on your face in real time in the Try-On tab.
If you choose a photo from your library instead, only that photo is read.
All of this is processed on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Photos and video frames are never uploaded, never sent to us or anyone else, and the scan photo is not saved after your colors are read.
What is stored on your device
BeautyKit saves the following locally on your iPhone so the app can work:
- your first name
- your answers to the onboarding questions
- your color analysis results (your season and the color values read from the scan)
- your routine checklist history
- the shades you save
This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes it, and so does Profile › Start over.
What we don't do
BeautyKit has no account system, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. We don't track you across apps or websites.
Children
BeautyKit is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
